Get answer from your one self. This is the difference between Hindu India (Nalanda was built by Buddhist King) and the Mugal.

It was indeed a pleasure going through this beautiful article on Purana Quila, Delhi. I have stayed in Delhi for 2 Yrs but never had a chance to visit this place.I remember seeing photos being published in TOI when one of the US president visited that place and later Great Ghazal singer Ghulam Ali performed there. I am not going miss this time around when I am in Delhi. I love the city except fast paced life, traffic etc.
Thanks again Nirdesh. Let some more coming..

Dear Shashi,

Delhi has a rich history and surfeit of monuments and forts. And winters are the best time to discover them.

Barack Obama during his visit to India could not visit Agra due to paucity of time. So he and Michelle visited the next best thing – The Humayun Tomb. You are welcome to come to Delhi again and visit our rich heritage.

Purana Qila provides awesome backdrop for cultural events. You can catch the Sound & Light show in the evenings about Seven Cities of Delhi.

Through Rediff, I am also covering the Seven Cities of Delhi. Purana Qila or Shergarh is Delhi’s Sixth City. Please visit the link for Firozabad – Delhi’s Fifth City - http://www.rediff.com/getahead/slide-show/slide-show-1-travel-the-djinns-and-magnificent-ruins-of-firozabad/20130112.htm
< BR>I will be covering other cities of Delhi in the coming days.

Thanks for reading and appreciating.

Mr Nirdesh Singh. Rediff has removed (moderated) my views on some of the incorrecness of your writings. Have you ever wondered that if the ancient Hindu kings built great universities, roads, temples where were they living during their lifetimes? Under the open sky? Obviously not, they were living in magnificient forts all designed according to ancient texts, complete with water ways. The marauders only occupied these. They were honest to admit they never built thme this error was due to British historians .We are not prepared to look at the truth because it will turn the whole history about these buildings upside down. Accept the truth Sir.
