What about love jihad conversions by muslims to hindu women ?????
by Muneer Roy on Feb 07, 2013 02:41 AM

Just utilising H'women's open mind ....

The love jihad marriage and conversion must end !!!

If there is love, there is mutual respect to each other's religion. So NO CONVERSION !!!!!

Actually, they tactfully do it to show their "so called SUPERIORITY OVER MAJORITY H'S by converting H'women while keeping their women protected under burqah and mis-teaching" !!!

This is ALSO a nuisance to Hindu society !!!!!

Churches in North East??
by Ravi on Feb 06, 2013 09:12 AM  | Hide replies

Christain missionaries are doing lot of conversion work in the NE states! This is only because of the apathy of Central and State governments. Mahatma Gandhi was strictly against conversion of Hindus to other religions. Converting tribals is deadliest sin. Condition of NE states like Manipur, Assam is worst... Kangress is determined to destroy every corner of India...

Like in Islamic countries conversion to any religion should be banned in our country. I feel really bad when you see religious marketing happening.

The english found a word called caste. So people of different occupations (jati) started fighting. Now since the hindus will keep on fighting the english win.
Like they don't have caste in their own country. will a british royal marry some some from poor family, maybe a janitor, non white? There is casteism to varying degrees in all society but in India people are made to believe it apllies to only them

do you really find this beautiful

Do you really find this place beautiful? Perhaps you need to travel overseas. There are millions of places in Lanka alone that is far more superior than this. I am not even sure why northeast part of india anyway. It should really belong to china, just as andaman should belong to indonesia.

That is extremely what overseas people say "do you really find this beautiful" They say India is the most beautiful.
That is why tourism is rising in India every year.

Ok.
Can you find rivers confluencing, nature at its very best beyond altitudes of 20000 feets, wrath wrecking otherwise calm looking airs, seas, snow capped peaks, soothing tea estates in Lanka, where I believe is nothing left for touring and to top it all, a failed economy awaits you.

And when did lankans became so receptive and warm to endorse tourists?

Paradise on Earth
by DrYNI Anand on Feb 05, 2013 02:55 PM  | Hide replies

The entire North East is like Paradise on Earth.

Unfortunately due to wrong policies of the successive governments which kept them alienated from the rest of the country, thanks to the Inner Line Permit needed to visit these places, and rampant conversion activities, these places have remained backward. Manipur was our of bounds for the evangelists for a long time, but unfortunately, even that state has fallen to them. Just for your information, the legendary Arjuna's wife Chitrangada who gave birth to the famous Babruvahana who defeated his own father hailed from Manipur & another wife Ulupi hailed from Nagaland.

If our leaders are not interested in preserving history, we can not blame anyone else.

I have lived there way back in the seventies. When I visited these places again in the early part of this century, I was saddened to see the degradation of many places due to poor development. Still, the people there lead a simple life and most of them are people friendly. The natural beauty in incomparable. The hills, the valleys, the streams and many more make the place a real paradise.

If only our leaders think rationally and develop these states, I can guarantee that many people from this country who throng Singapore and adjacent countries will stop doing so and instead, visit the North east part of our country. Alas, I may not live to see that day.

To conclude, never miss a chance to visit these great states if you get a chance.

I would like to comment on your evangelist theory. Let me tell u first that i am a Hindu. I belong to the state of Jharkhand. Govt policies are indifferent to the tribals here too. Its the christain missioners who have reached them deep in the jungles and have educated them and given them a rightful place in the society. You will be zapped to know that 95% of tribals in Jharkhand are educated... thanks to these missioners.

Ravi Shankar: more than education that is conditioning and control of the mind. This is not exactly education but doctrination. Christianity is dying in Europe, whereas it is being resurrected at the cost of harmonious Indian religions. We have seen both Christianity & Islam simply brings chaos, hate and scorn and competition in the name of God.

People like DrYNI Anand want tribes & other suppressed castes to be a Hindu, but don't want to give them any right & want them to be slaves.

ILP is the saviour of Nagaland.Without ILP the whole NE would have been usurped by Bangladeshis. The best case example is Tripura. Before independence,Tribal population was 80% and today it is a mere 20% now in Tripura.

Indian govts are very unimaginative in that they cannot transform these into attractive locations for business and tourism. The streets are shoddy and clumsy. India needs foreign help and consultancy from Disney or the likes to transform these places into successful economic hubs.

Dr Anand before making such ridiculous statements it would be better to examine the facts. Thanks to the selfless service of the missionaries India is a force to reckon with because of English. Their schools not only taught but inculcated certain values in all of us. I am immensely proud & grateful of the fact that I am a product of that education system which has allowed me to experience the world where we are second to none. But today's private schools are in it for the moolah & the only values they promote are narcissism & love for money. Service does not even figure in their scheme of things. Even the prayers taught to us by the missionaries were secular & can be said by anyone unlike the schools of today which owe allegiance to a particular ideology which is eroding our ethos & secular way of life. India would be worse off if these people were not here.

Absolutely, govt miserable failed to educate them and bring them to the mainstream. They were left at the mercy of maos. Christains have made a big difference in their thinking and social status. And this change is for good.
