In maximum buildings in our areas the surrounding land in the compound is completely covered by concrete or pever blocks. Most of the societies are doing this exercise leaving no place to plant even shrubs and flower plants. In my society I tried to plant some trees but the society authorities completely covered the open land by cement & concrete removing the trees. It has been happening in most of the societies. Unless Govt and Municipal takes some strict action no forestration is possible in such cities. In fact our govt is permitting more and more tree cutting in cities.

Govt and municipality are administered by incompetent people. Their leaders are even more incompetent.
But mind u they are very very competent at certain things which u all know.
So leave them out of it and join hands with Afforestt and make this earth a better place to live for our future generations.
