i dont know why trend set toward going in managment side and doing job in hedge fund companies or share market related companies from IIT students?? this is just like after doing orthopedic surgery or neuro surgery doctor doing profession of BAnk Manager?? Is it good for Our country future as by this in my opinion trend goes towards away from research in field of technology and all government effer to boost up is just Lost.

It is all about ROI (return on investment)!

An engineer will take anywhere between a few years to a lifetime to recover what he or she invested in becoming an engineer (depending on how they use their knowledge of engineering)!

The fastest way to get maximum returns on your engineering education investment is to get into the business world where you make money on somebody else's money!

Unless the Indian engineer has an idea or ideas for a revolutionary product or service, he or she will have to settle working as a low-paid, desk-confined laborer in some company's engineering division!

If you don't make money fast and when you can, you are doomed in today's world!
