Agreed, but get it done.

Ya, the whole experience can be embarrassing as well as taxing, but I would say get it done. You will love it later. I had shortlisted a few photographers from my friends & relatives wedding, chose which was suiting the types of photography they did plus the budget. For the engagement, my hubby then fiance was not feeling photogenic and found the entire thing comical so had forced expressions or was in full humor mood giving the photographer a tough time with his pranks. For wedding, thankfully the team of photographers captured everything in the natural settings so they were never they intruding types. Also our punditji was a spirited, festive fellow who kept both families in fits of laughter while explaining all the rites & rituals.

I was teased, I never got the wedding album made for months after marriage. I wanted hubby & family to help sort the 1000 photos to 200. Eventually after 1.5years & delivering a baby, in my maternity leave got my hubby to sit down & help sort. So now have a Wedding album & its turned out beautifully. Everyone who goes through it, loves it. I am glad I got it done.
