How to save money on living expenses while you are a student in a foreign country ..........

Buy most durables needed for living abroad in India.

Try to buy your textbooks in India by finding out what they are from students already in the university you are going to.

Don't take more than two suitcases. Make a list of things you need daily and only buy and take them in these suitcases.

Don't share living premises with other students, just pay them 5% - 10% of the rent for parking your suitcases and visiting them to have lunch and dinner for which you can negotiate your contribution depending on the quantity of your food consumption.

Buy a good sleeping bag, find the quietest, most remote corner in the university library and sleep there.

Most foreign universities have Olympic style gymnasiums or sports facilities, many of which are open 24 hours a day. Use the showers in these facilities to bathe.

All university buildings have clean and well maintained toilets with plenty of toilet paper and liquid soap. Abuse these facilities to relieve yourself.

If you follow the aforementioned suggestions, you will save a lot of money on your living expenses!

Good luck!
