Increase the police to population ratio....
by hawkeye on Aug 26, 2013 12:13 PM  | Hide replies

The major reason for all the lack of law and order in India is simply this : the police to population ratio is just 130 per 100000 people, well below the minimum police strength of 222 per 100000 people recommended by the UN.

Law and order is needed for healthy progress of the country in all sectors, and this is essentially provided by a good and effective police force.

All developed and progressive nations have a very good police to population ratio. France (356), Germany (298 ),Great Britain( 307 ), U.S.A (256),Spain (511),Belgium(373), Malaysia (370),Singapore(752) are examples.

Good law and order ensures a healthy society and a good background for economic development as well for obvious reasons.

If India aspires to be a developed nation, it should first increase the police to population ratio from its measly 130 at present to at least the UN recommended minimum police strength of 222.

Otherwise all these crimes and protests will keep on happening without any end at sight.

The Indian government need not get tense and worried about the costs of maintaining a 222 strong police to population ratio, as the strong economic development that comes with good law and order will more than compensate for the greater investment in the policing sector.

Swimming with the Sharks
by mountaintiger on Aug 24, 2013 10:08 AM  | Hide replies

If you are swimming with sharks. you need to take care of yourself.

The reason is
1. A shark will attack if it is hungry.
To protect yourself.. you need to hurt that shark badly that it gives up.
2. A shark will attack if you intimidate it.
Sharks are very curious.. so avoid them and and be ready to hurt them if required.
3. A shark will attack if you are bleeding.
A shark has tasted blood. So it will like to take a bite out of you. So you need to hurt the shark badly for it to give up.

The Bottom Line is Sharks are not made of Steel. They can also feel pain. All you need to know is how to hurt the sharks.

The software which describes your personality there should contain menu items called Strong, Aggressive, Violent, Bad tempered, Deadly, Lethal, etc. and these items should get immediately activated on a click. There should also be shaded menu items like Weak, Vulnerable, Dependent, Shy, etc. and there should be no way to get them activated no matter how many times these are clicked.

The software should be fully tested and installed in yourself and be ready for use in the field.

Your hardware should match the software menu items that can be activated, otherwise it will generate errors and your system could crash and become unusable.

Very Interesting.. The software which you were talking about

Weak, Vulnerable, Dependent, Shy, etc

overloaded and crashed on the hardware it was installed because of the virus called Indian Society

Then the hardware had to be upgraded for the new requirement.

With the database of Weak, Vulnerable, Dependent etc

and a firewall in the front end having features of

Strong, Aggressive, Violent, Bad tempered, Deadly, Lethal, etc

To keep the hackers at the bay.

It is highly Stable and works well

As they both are separate modules for separate purposes s
o they can be installed or uninstalled

based on your needs as the environment demands

@ some one.

Your Personality describes of an Application with features of

gossiping, Loud Mouth, Arrogant, useless, cunning, back stabbing, cheating, lying, dis honest, etc

This software cannot be installed anywhere as

all the anti-virus programs in the market

removes your personality software immediately when copied to the system.

I think the poster in Picture is misleading..
by Kanu Singh on Aug 24, 2013 08:41 AM  | Hide replies

Its says. ‘Change your thinking, not Cloths’. Once I heed to that kind of poster and for few weeks I did not changed my under-garments after having shower. Soon my private parts became infected and I have to face the embarrassment of showing my private parts to Doctor.

Problem with most Elders is, most often they don’t have satisfactory answers for children questions or sometimes implication of answers are not properly thought out.

Few time answers may be simply misleading, but most often usual replies are, Society does that way and to live in society you have to do it, all humans do like this or its requirement of religion and etc.

Finally they say, enough arguments, now shut up and do What is told? Or you will get a slap. But silencing the enquirer does not change the truth of question. Question remains until a satisfactory answer is found.

I found a satisfactory answer for not harassing girls, written at back of trucks. It says something like, ‘Why harass someone else daughter today ? One day you might be father of a daughter!’

I think it means, as long as possible, treat others as you like to be treated in their position, because what we contribute to Society today?, might come back to balance account with us one day.
