many cases of Inter-Caste and Inter-Religion marriages is happening in Mumbai. I have my own friends, some of them even relatives jumping to other caste, religion to accept the status based on Money.
As the article suggests the caste barriers may be slowly diminishing due to multiple reasons. But the fair complexion expectation has rather increased. People may / may not express it openly but the grooms expect the bride to look like a prized possession. When will men start treating women as humans & not as beautiful, presentable objects?

For that women must stop trying to market and en cash themselves. When will women stop being mean? They always want best of both worlds.

When women will consider that men are also humans and have the right to their point of view. Women shouldn't have double standards.

well men can have double standards, its men who started it they were are and will be behind girls who have rich father, why cant women be????
