I hope Time-piece, which we was very common in almost all houses about 15-20 years back, are now a showcase item. This is also true in the case of rotary telephones.

ABOVE ALL, THE HONESTY & INTEGRITY WHICH OUR GRAND PARENTS SHOWED HAS VANISHED, AND IT IS ONLY ON THE BEST QUOTES AND NOT A PART OF DAILY LIFE.
Few things cn be added to the list. The small bird sparrow has vanished due to Mobile towers.Vididha Bharati the most popular radio programme has almost vanished from Big cities like Mumbai and Delhi due to powerful private FM.Government should not allow this.Post cards are also vaishing, so also inland letters for private use.Typewriters are not there. The real thing that should vanish is poverty. That will vanish when corruption is vanished.
A politician, Elected Representatives be it to Parliament/Rajya Sabha. Legislature Assemblies, Municipal Corporations, etc. whose assets are less than one crores.

All the quoted scooters died because of 'Lack of Helmet Space' available in new models. But Bajaj Chetak, Yamaha RX100 are still remebered & used proudly by the owners who still have them. Rajdoot is still favourite in villages - with people who have to carry loads for longer distances - Reason for popularity? - Rajdoot engine can run on Kerosene, after a start-up by Petrol - It saves money ! ! !

Incidentally, I saw a Rajdoot in a village 2 days ago. The best part is that I own a 1986 RX100 ;)
