Well a bullet is no answer to these things...but...are the bikers right when do do such dangerous stunts in public places or roads?
I have reprimanded and have slapped many such bikers in my colony as they were creating nuisance and law and order problem.
Even on Mumbai raods many of such bikers, not only put their lives in danger, but also the lives of the passerby. If you want to prove ur self...why dont you go and enroll your self in some grand prix?

I do agree with what the writer has to say.. biking is a passion and not everyone would realise that... and we all, atleast once in a life time have desired to ride a bike and we at once upon a time have been young and have never cared abt the world. Then why dont U ppl sit back and think for a while, that we youngsters are not ignorent,, we are passionate, like u were, once upon a time... designate a place for us outside the city, where we can perform our stunts and we promise the society that we will never do it on the streets and anyways your streets are not worth our stunts ... because they are all screwed..

Nothing Logical
by Noel Masters on Aug 10, 2013 11:59 AM

Going by what the author has written and questions posed, we know for a certainty that there is nothing logical when it comes to dealing with authorities and politicians.
Everything cannot be turned around at one go as there will be nothing but more chaos than already is.
Coming back to subject of stunt biking or for that matter rash riding........ accepted it is a passion and a sense of freedom and enjoyment. Is is supposed to be so much freedom that road rules are flouted? Is it supposed to be so much freedom that they really don't care what they leave behind in their wake of passion and enjoyment?
I to ride a bike and prefer over a car many times over, but that's where it ends. I see what some of these 'passionate' riders do on the streets even in peak traffic hours and because of that have felt no sympathy towards the pillion rider that got shot. I wish there was another fatal bullet headed for the rider himself.
Sometimes these extreme measures are a must when riders with freedom on their minds throw all care to the winds and ride like there is no tomorrow.
Kudos to the Delhi police once again.
I would want police from other states as well to adopt this methodology.
I will feel more safe on the roads.

Though delhi police accidentally, shot dead a biker, it must be encouraged to do so in future. These hoodlums (bikers) fret out their adrenalin in public road posing threat to numerous people's live. They do not have any decency in respecting other people's safety. They must be fired upon sighting whenever they take to roads. GOOD job done by DELHI POLICE!!!!!

one good thing I have noticed after the shooting incident no NGO came forward to critisice the police.Normally they shout at police for all the actions of the police while keeping quite on the killings by criminals

Kill those morons
by Arun on Aug 10, 2013 12:12 AM

Well, lets see. If those who do dangerous stunts are going to eat bullets, then lets see if they dare to do that at all. They know the helplessness of the public and the unequipped police force and so take it in their hands. If they want to die, let them goto an isolated place and do these stunts and die. Why do it in a place where children, oldpeople move around? Is there any importance given to the suspension/revoking of license? The same treatment should be applied to the rapists.

Another proof of the cheapness of life
by Ayon Pradhan on Aug 09, 2013 11:14 PM

Yet another proof about the cheapness of life of the Aam Aadmi. Would the son of a neta or a babu or a general have gotten this treatment? Would an actor driving drunk over pedestrians have been stopped this way?

And has the higher ups considered equiping the police force with stun weapons (Tasers) or electronic vehicle immobilizers. Oh wait!!! They have yet to leave the 20th century and get rid of the Lee-Enfield single shots.
