Sitting at Bhatinda and dreaming for Canada and driving taxi and truck and getting passport is motive of these uneduated punjab guys. Singapore modern infrastructure and its vision and tourism places cannot be enjoyed by these low class people who search for samosa and tikiya in high class elite restaurant.
Singapore has as many as 270 tourist attraction. The below guy said even 1 day in enough. Is he joking. If you go to Santosa even 3 days is less. Santosa has universal studio and all places beach, extreme sports, casino, rides and so many places. Then there is shopping malls and adventure places? did you miss night safari which is unique. Then heart touching marina bay water show. Water parks, forest adventure is place which is unqique where there is tarzan swing and zipping from tree to sand in between river.
Singapore has so many places that even 10 days trip is not enough. Yes all are man made but beauty of its architecture is to be appreciated. Its neighbour countries indonesia and mali has only beaches. But singapore my gosh it has so many places, but yes food is problem for indians at some places but it is vibrant city

4 5 days is more than enough. Singapore is a small place and it becomes boring

I've lived in the US for 10 years and in Hong Kong for 3 so it's not that I haven't seen a place with modern infrastructure. And I wasn't driving a taxi. It looks like you're who is smitten by 'high class elite' places. There are a lot of options in that region for tourism, like Siddharth said, that are better than Singapore. HK, Thailand, Malaysia, even China are more fun. If you love Sentosa, you obviously haven't been to HK's beaches.

And it's Sentosa, not 'Santosa'. And by 'mali' did you mean the country in Africa or Bali? Just so you know, Bali is not a country.

yeah they have 270 tourist attraction and none of them are worth visiting.
And you are talking about architecture? You know hardly people are interested in modern architecture and high rises. Singapore definately is a very good city to live but for tourists.. nah..
Thailand is way too better with bangkok, phuket, pattaya, samui, chiang mai..Why would you suggest someone to waste their money when they have option of visiting much better places than singapore?

The truth is, Singapore is not a one day visit or 100. I guess 3-5 days are good enough. I would rate it way over HK or any other cities in the area, a well planned, well maintained city unlike the vertical claustrophobic HK. Thailand, Bali etc are differnt, Singapore is a city. Obviously it depends on your taste, if you love beaches you go to Maldives and see amazing blue lagoons. None of the places you people mentioned are anywhere close to Maldives. For me, Singapore is an amazing place I would love to go back.

In my opinion Singapore is an extremely boring place. If you really must go there, a day is enough to see everything.

completely agree mate. There is nothing interesting in singapore if you are not interested in buying gadgets.
It looks just like any other developed city in the world. Too cosmopolitan and business like atmosphere to take away every bit of charm from it. On the contrary, hongkong and bangkok are very very good.
