Except the Speedometer which is struggled to get but could not. Can some body held where the Bajaj Chetak parts are available. One the most family scooters in India. Sir, Why don't you revive the same scooter with latest looks and little modification with self start etc with pleasentable headlights. It will be sold like hot cakes. Still there are Lovers of Hamara Bajaj - Chetak.

Glad the bajaj scooter is dead and buried. Nothing more hateful than having to listen to someone revving the Bajaja scooter in the early hours or late at night.
1. Most of these old scooters would refuse to start and then you have to bend them and try. 2. They were quite heavy, and at least 50 years old technology.
All this happened, becz sarkaar would not allow industry to manufacture anything without 1000 licenses from govt clerks.
Bajaj has done great in justice to middle class by suspending production of Bajaj Scooter. It is still POPULAR AMONG A CLASS,Co. should come out with better fuel efficient version to beat traffic hazards in all cities.
Current scooters donot have strong body, just looks and style with plastic and fibre..One small touch by something will break the body. Old scooters were having solid metal body which could run for generations and so may dents would not have made any impact on the vehicle..
