Means he has gone through a few of the wife thingys and he is conveying the most recent wife's opinion
The more you keep away from junk food and cold beverages like Pepsi or Coca Cola the better! Far from giving energy to your body, these things zap you of energy. And of course fruits are there as always to give you the real energy. Among the worst effects of cold beverages is their tendency to increase fat and sugar levels in blood impacting the pancreas
At least one fresh fruit per day will provideyou with vitamins, mineral, potasium and many other nutrients which are needed for the body. But now a days the fruits are adulterated with chemicals like dyes, oils and chemicals. These fruits are injurious to health and added many health problems. People must take necessary measures to clean the fruits before taking them.Awareness and honesty of the sellers and producers are required to maintain our health.

How can one know without touching and feeling if banana is ripe or not!!! and most shop keepers don't allow their bananas to be touched!!
if u add salads and veggies to fruit it is complete food. no need of anything else. best carbohydrates, fats, amino acids (protein), vitamins, antioxidants, phytochemicals, minerals etc

no it is not , fruits and vegitables are not good source of protein also if you totaly depend on fruit then it will havily increase sugar level , too much of any thing is harmful so a balance diet is required , remember a 60 kg person require 48 gms of protein daily for proper maintenance of muscles, hair and skin tissues , fruits can not provide that much protein .

Abhay, World Health Organization has further lowered protein needs to 25 g daily only. Protein has been over hyped. Humans make most efficient use of protein by recycling them and maintaining amino acid pool.
best amino acids are raw so get them from your fruit, greens, salads, veg etc
Fruits are very good food and good source of nutrients - this is known to mankind for centuries.
However, today we do not know what we are eating - bananas being ripened with chemicals and papayas cloned in such a way that they have lost all their goodness. Other fruits are also in the same category. 'An apple a day keeps the doctor away' is no longer true - in fact apples, with waxing and polishing of the outer peel of apples, these have become more of poison than with goodness. Same with other fruits.

As per theories of evolution, human being has reached the pinnacle of evolution and capable of further adaptation to the surrounding with advancement of time. SO.. don't worry the next generations would be capable of surviving the so called polluted environment and evolve. If you bring up a man back from 10th century into a busy dusty city or a coal mine he may choke to death in a matter of minutes. The current human beings are surviving even higher pollutions including nuclear and other radiations. Moral of the story. Pl enjoy the best things in the life the way they are.

The bitter truth is that bananas and papayas being sold in the market has been ripened with either ethephon or carbide. While buying them do enquire from the seller about the method by which they have been ripened.
