Ancient India was a place of starvation, disease and wretchedness. Till 30 years ago, a common blessing Indians in their forties gave their children was "may you live to be sixty years old". "saat saal jiyo", it did not become "sow saal jiyo" till the seventies.

WHole world wanted to trade with India. Columbus discovered America accidentally when he wanted to find a new route to India.IF Ancient India was a place of starvation why would all these people try so hard to come to India. Infact, India and China was the two wealthiest nations before INdustrial revolution happened. It is only in the last 200 years or so, that we are considered a poor country. For most part of human civilisation we were a land of prosperity. Learn to respect your own motherland.

Western Countries on Yoga and Ayurveda earlier and now: Doing yoga is only mild exercise and does not have much health benefits (1970) Doing Yoga 30 minutes a day builds immunity and reliefs to lots of chronic diseases (1991) Turmeric which is being used in many ayurvedic medicines is just a pigment and has no benefits. Ayurvedic physicians are coning people(1985). Turmeric is an excellent anti-inflamattory and also can prevent cancer (2003) Existence of Dwaraka and Krishna dating 10000 years back are just a myth as oldest civilization is not more than 5200 years old (1961) Historians are baffled by discovering dwaraka civilization(near Gujarat) under ocean and now dates the civilization back to atleast 12000 year old needing some serious re-write of history (2009). Galileo found that earth is round. Bhagavatham scripture calls earth bhoogolam - (sanskrit meaning that which is round and rotates).Also Carvings on ancient temples in Tamilnadu (400 A.D) shows earth as sphere.
Once we accepted the imported and flawed concept of Democrazy...we already opened the d000rways to all western trash as the sense of superficial freedom and choice it offers is very alluring. West has no idea of real freedom, joy and how to live life holistically.
