Xperia Ion was launched long back. A better comparison would have been with Xperia V which was unveiled last month-end and would be Sony's H2 2012 flagship phone.

yeah, the first iteration was truly great, maybe till 3g...
I admit and am seriously disappointed at the new design that Apple has come out with. Would have loved to see some more creativity from the design engineers of the world's most profitable company. That said, I must admit that the App Store and the quality of the Apps that I seen on I product look better when compared to my Android devices that I own. The new phone is a flop but I am happy with the existing models and the environment. I am afraid Android has a lot more to catch up with regards to stability. Till then Apple will rule.

agree with most of your comments, save for the last. android is already ruling. where apple is ruling is in profits. other companies will quickly catchup but not in record profits. no single android vendor can profi as much as apple because android has several layers of companies who profit from a single device, unlike apple which has its own stack of services (including in hardware)

Re: Apple, is original and others are copy cat

apple are the biggest copycats..they have copied many features from sony and microsoft.
Apple used to buy/steal ideas from others and incorporate them as innovations. Now that everyone has become smart with their own smart phones, they are not getting any innovative ideas (to buy/steal). What they do is they withhold some features in all their phones and release a new phone every other year with the with previously withheld features. The silly iPhone fans start raving about them not knowing that Samsung and others have those features for the last 2 years

That is exactly what Microsoft is doing with respect to OS; withholding some item and releasing in the next model. The problem further complicated because the new version is not useful to the programmes used in the earlier one. We have to grow wiser and put a full-stop at one stage

You are right. Once you start using iPhone (rather any apple gadgets) you never go back to any of the junk like samsung, sony etc. They are biggest copycats..that is proved and samsung payed $1B to apple

This is very true indeed. So called successful biggies of today like Apple, MS are all copy cats. Credit should go to the originals namely Xerox, initial labs of IBM etc.
