forget about English they cannot achieve it even in their own language ....they do not have capability learning .....even they do not know what they are doing....they are foolish slaves
Theoretical knowledge is essential but application on the field is the most essential. So the course on engineering should be relevant to industrial aspiration & expectation. That makes a difference between ITI student & graduate engineering students(ITI students are adoptable then engineering students)
How can you expect the qualities when colleges manages by politicians (who have started the colleges with black money and trying to make white) At least 60%of the colleges should be converted as polytechnics immediately. The basis of entrance shall be purely on merit and not on pocket size only when we expect quality amongst graduates. More importantly the lecturers are more concentrate on providing printed notes to students and ask them to strictly follow. Majority of students does not refer the books/journals available - more sad part is many colleges lack quality libraries.
All Institutes must provide the actual field work training to the students in different industries to get real experience and to understand challenge ahead.
The education is become business today. for the dignity of TAG 'BE' parents are sending to Engineering.who dose not have target, achivement,in the respected field name sake they are joining engineering.so many State governament boards giving 80% of marks, but if we test that candidates they cannot pass even 45% ????!!!! this is also one type of Scam.... now a day's what we observe students are attending RAve-party,,etc etc..., this not a culture of student. A student having gol in engineering deffinetly he will survive other wise again it is equal to all other Degrees only. LET us STOP POLITICAL INFLUENCE IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM
How many of these so called engineering colleges have great teacher/professors ? In 1990's i have had prof who sacrified his lucrative ISRO job for Teaching. Do we have anyone nowadays ?
I studied in an NIT where I got admitted after clearing an entrance... But even there I saw a overwhelming system of rot learning... it was all about scoring high marks in the exam and most ppl spent all their time mugging... the teachers also encouraged the same... No innovation, no practical learning, no soft skills even...
The recruiting companies are also no different since they call ppl for interview based on exam percentage/grades only... Whoever has done well coming from this system is because of his/her own effort, the system does not deserve any credit...
What can you expect when education has become business and any body can open an engineering college or management institute? The common people have become richer. So, they can afford to send their children to these sub-standard college by paying high fees. Earlier, only bright students got seats in Engineering colleges. But, now any body can get into an engineering course. The result is not surprising. It is not fault of students or guardians. It is the fault of the Govt who has allowed these colleges to operate.
