Hyderabad is the most fashionable city in the world. All are invited to see the variety of 'Burkhas' with so much of hand work done. Underneath they have the most beautiful jeans, t-shirt and Modern dress
Simply beautiful

Except in political manoeuvrings,Mumbai true to it as cosmopolitan &liberal culture including its tolerance to all other regions continues to beat any other city-not to speak of Delhi alone.Mumbai is Mumbai & there is no other city matching with it especially in its certain sterling qualities like the laudable traffic discipline, excellent transport system which primarily include the net work Best Buses & the three suburban-centralist & harbour line train services, work culture time sense & space management of the people besides their incomparable stoic nature which alone could see as whopping attendance as 98% in the offices even after the horrifying Mumbai blasts of 1993.True to the degree of cosmopolitan out look it develops day by day unmindful of the several threats to flush out some of its residents on reason on non-nativity by certain disgruntles & self centred political party/ies,it is sure to emerge as the fore most city of fashions in the country. Its all forbearance nature is its greatest plus point for several of its good qualities to grow-of course with a concurrent springing of certain threats in terms of underground activities etc.Unlike Chennai,it is a city being blessed by Goddes Mahalaxmi with her back towards see & facing the city with countenance in contrast to the former where She (I mean Ashtalaxmi) of Basanthnager faces the sea with her back towards the city.

I agree Mumbai is much more cosmopolitan and tolerant than Delhi. Delhi's culture is full of nepotism and bragging about political connections.

There are always two cities in any city. One for cultured, cosmopolitan, rich, non-inclusive wealthy and the other is filthy, poor and downtrodden, cruelly gettoed part. Hence, everything depends upon how your perspective and which one you want to see by closing the other eye. Yardsticks differ for different strata of societies live in any city.

We should not say Mumbai has the best public transport system out of all the metros in India. It is Kolkata where we get most diversified and cheap public transport system (e.g Tram, Metro...rickshaw, shared autos, taxis, different kinds of buses, suburban railways..) The share of public transport on the roads is the highest. Mumbai is largely a city of few corporates whereby flows of money is ensured but seriously lacking cultures like say bookfair,Chidren film festival, tribal fare etc. Moreover there are problems of security, communal harmony etc.
