Unless apple competitors comes up with better
1. Superior Display(any 1st grade will make out the difference)
2. Superior Battery - Standby Consumption
3. Ease of use-Any naive person can use without any training
4. Convenience in Install/Upgrade Apps etc
5. Seamless integration with 3g/4g/LTE
6. Path breaking technologies like Facetime/Siri Assistant etc
6. And most of important all Apple's Originality brand not like Copycat brands like samsung (which copies everything from Kithchen appliances to consumer electronics from its competitor)

Let me ask you, Siri is Path breaking technology, how many times did you use it? And what is the percentage you got it correct? It is one of the lazy and wasteful feature.

Apple is actually master of copy cat, do you know where they got copied the windows technology?

Wake up buddy....

google has already pushed apple to a corner
by wizardo id on Nov 04, 2012 02:08 PM

steve jobs scoffed at google's claim of 50,000 activations a day, now its doing 1.3 million activations per day.

apple's vision of having an expensive apple product in everyone's hands is destroyed. 75% of the market is now android.

now, the tablet market is going to be taken over by android again.

good thing about android is that people have choice of products, accessories, etc. google needs to keep working on it however, as apple makes really nice products.

500 million Android Phone Users, and 1 million activations daily
by rajpal raina on Oct 31, 2012 09:47 PM  | Hide replies

Aple Iphone market share has fallen from 27 to 16% in just one year ..

No wonder Apple is suing Android /Samsun in all the courts , trying hard to stop thier sales..

spot on. Apple's running scared, their vision of world domination like windows is in tatters. they are doing good, but steve jobs' vision was to conquer mobile tablet space. they are doing good in tablet space (soon to be destroyed by the android brigade). the phone space is taken over by google android now.

Rumour has it that... Apple will open up one day like Android to counter it... that is when the apple can think of remaining in business... not far from today !

Battery hog
by Tejinder Singh on Oct 31, 2012 05:12 PM  | Hide replies

The biggest issue with android is that it hogs battery like anything. I made the mistake of updating my galaxy tab to ICS and now I do not get even 4 hours. You put the tablet to sleep with 80% battery and within 12 hours it is down to 20% inspite of all the tweaks popular on the net. I shifted to iPad recently and now when I sleep with a battery of 80%, I wake up in the morning still getting a battery of 80%!

That's because your boyfriend is using the ipad and recharges the ipad to the wall while you're asleep

Tejinder, I had the same issue when I upgraded my galaxy note phone to ics. This is getting caused due to a rogue process that for some reaon does not get killed or completed, which in turn prevents the device from going to sleep, which drains the battery. To resolve it, take the battery out from your tab, leave it for a minute or so and then put it back in. This fixed the problem for me. Now, not sure, if you can remove the battery from the tab as I have not used it before, but give it a shot

this is not the case case with everyone. when i upgraded to ICS, the battery life has doubled for me. it's a small percentage of the phones that has battery life shortened.

It is not a joke SAMSHER RANA,
In sleep (Standby for some) the system is still working and saturated with power only the screen is inactive, rest of the system still uses battery and drains it.
It is only in the full OFF, that the battery does not drain at all, and in some systems the software defines how much system should stay awake and how much should be set to off only to restart on demand.
It is just like your television on stand by, It still uses power.

I tried juice defender, while it's good, I felt no difference, when i removed it. leaving the power management to android is best. use power saver settings. even the mighty apple has issues with power - when they cost twice or thrice the average android handset!

Of course Hyundai sells more cars than a Ferrari, but are they competing other than for the generic word transportation.
