It's very unfortunate that most of the new generation of youngsters do not have any values left in them. They are ready to do anything, literally, to attain quick fame.

unfortunately.....every generation HAD, HAS and will HAVE such youngsters.......remember ...your Dad saying how values have fallen....
If you are not number one in this illusory world of fashion and modeling, then the end will only be tragic like that of the unfortunate Viveka, Gitanjali, Nafisa or Bidushi. Choose Sports. Choose Athletics. The scope is unlimited for our youth and we have scope from SAF Games to Olympics in more than 50 disciplines. Mary Kom will always be more respected and valued even in her 70s and 80s than Madhu Sapre or Kashmira Shah or Yana Gupta [no offence to these ladies, they too are hard workers but it is a dead end industry with a very short life span.] Out of 120, 32 will make the cut. Imagine the mental trauma for the remaining 88 wannabes.
Is it necessary? Will it help attain Self Actualization? Will it ever bring happiness?

As you rightly said, they ultimately have to go nude.
After all the anorexia and after they go nude, then what?
The cobras who make these girls strip for their calendars do not even pay their employees properly in their airlines, what money will these girls get even after stripping? No izzat, no money for number 2 to 1000, only the winners get a chance thanks to bollywood.
Even the great Lisa Ray had to suffer, there is just no financial security in this business for the multitudes.
