Just follow your inner conscience .......!

There are "black sheep" and "wolves in sheep clothing" in every religion ! No religion is holier or better than another religion. All have their good points and bad points. As an adult human being one's inner conscience is an inbuilt "church, temple, mosque, gurudwara, derasar, synagogue, fire temple, etc." which is good enough to guide us, in order to determine right from wrong throughout our life ! One does not need the help and intervention of anything religious (persons or institutions) which are external and serve no purpose except maybe to further their own interests.

Religon does not influence - it forbids
by Royston Crasta on Oct 19, 2012 08:06 AM  | Hide replies

No religion permits extra marital affairs. No religion tells to betray their wife or husband. Any person who follows his/her religion earnestly and sincerely will commit a sin. It is the individual who is totally responsible. It is not the religion, nation, caste or community or any other social divides that determine their sexual behaviour or attitude If they has the sexual desire it is their fault. They should pray that they do not get tempted. They should pray that they should be loyal to their spouse. It is like any other sin and therefore should not do it. Please, therefore, do not come up with a study or article stating that murder is influence more in that religion or less in this religion; or theft is influenced more by this religion and less by this religion. You may be able to get an article printed and get paid for it. But unfortunately it creates undesirable and irrational reactions in public. In public and human interests please avoid this

It is a very wrong study. I don't know what is the sample size taken by the researcher. In muslims the sexual behaviour varies from area to area and region to region.Muslims tend to have sex (pre-marital as well as extra marrital) out of their religion and hence is not noticed. There are many aspects to it. In Hindu society at large you will find very less instances of extra marital sex though pre-marital sex is not rare. The pre-marital sex among any religious has nothing to do with religion. It is directly dependent upon young boys and girls going to educational institutions and jobs. The author may be correct in her study so far as it relates to some Arabian countries where only muslims live. Even there many Muslims of these countries who reportedly go to other countries to enjoy sex. IN FACT EXTRA MARITAL SEX IS LEGALISED IN ISLAM BY WAY OF TEMPORARY MARRIAGE AS SHORT AS FOR "TEN DAYS". IT IS CALLED AS "MUTTAH". Muslims marry their girls at a very young age so comperatively pre-marital sex is less. The author needs to do the work afresh.

well said ... it is not religion but surrounding environment leads the person to do anything .... this may be in the case of rape as well as premarital & extramarital affairs.... auther may be frustrated or has done the research to just complete the thesis.. ok we can consider it as her personal opinion & not research.
