REAL TIPS for freshers in 2nd year
by Raj Thackersey on Oct 17, 2012 01:24 AM

why 2nd year, because I have not much to offer for people in other years.

1. Ask yourself, do you want a job you like or do you want a job that pays and earns you respect in the eyes of society.

2. If you think you need a job you like and you dont mind what the people around you say then this is the right time you focus on building skills. Start searching for the area of the industry in which you would like to see yourself working. For example if you are a IT engineer, which field in IT do you want work in?? By the end of the 2nd year you should have made up your mind that you want to be in IT security and now you are going to do everything possible to be in this field.

3. During the 3rd year focus on building small projects throughout the year on this area of choice. The vacations between 2nd the 3rd year are for you to build your skills.

4. In the 4 th year on the basis of your projects get an internship in the area of your choice. It need not be in a company, chose to do your project inhouse, it does not matter much.

Also knock doors of very small companies and show them your projects made in 3rd year, your sure to get involved with them immediately.

If you like the internship in that small company continue first 6 months-1yr in there after graduation or degree.

Make sure you also get experience with some big fish to learn how processes work etc.

Then gain international exposure for 2-5 years.
And now you will be ready to launch your own company.
