I appeared for the first time in CAT. Though section2 was good, the quants section surprised me. I hadnt expected a co-ordinate geometry que. There were hardly any ques from the usual quants we study (tds, work-time, %, profit and loss, and mixtures). I saw only one que of work-time. There were mostly reasoning kind of ques where you need to answer without having to calculate anything. Quants no doubt was a lot tougher than last year's (cat 2011).
