Greatness of Amitabh

Lies in his ability to perceive and change. I think he is a true wonder who has the innate knack of blending his acting skills with great perception and experience - and the knack of doing just the right things. He did not stereotype himself which was the bane of most other stars

His move to play anchor for Kaun Banega crorepati was a master stroke and a great risk as well. The fact that he did a great job of it and continued that success with some out of the world movie performances have all resulted in him being the greatest in Indian cinema.

I doubt if any in Hollywood would match his longevity towards remaining successful in different walks of life (perhaps Arnold S).

Live is confused. Greatness need not necessarily mean that someone should engage in social service. Its the ability to scale above others in chosen field and he did that with a lot of ingenuity and deft. Doing social service is just one another field through which one can achieve greatness but there are several others as well!

Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar has lot of Similarities and both are Living Legends both are down to earth in personalities.
Despite his age and seniority, AB did not complain once, which is the mark of a true professional.

Some people who had not even achieved 1% of what Amitabh has achieved had audacity to bash him. It is nothing but pure jealousy. His committment to work, punctuality, giving respect to even juniors and most importantly to his parents is simply unparalleled. We must learn good things from him. Happy b'day Sir. I cannot forget days after 24th July 1982 when heartbeats of the whole country virtually stopped when he met with an accident. People's love to him is simply unbelievable. His contribution to eradicate polio from this country shall always be remembered. Long live Amitabh.
