You should realise that there might probably be people to whom these are actually secrets. Not all "news" are for "all" people. Why flame?

use ordinary phone
by thinktank on Oct 04, 2012 02:14 PM  | Hide replies

If you do not want even 2G and prefer wifi, switch off all other facilities, then whats the purpose of having a smart phone? In short, do not use smart phone, even if you use cut down all facilities and make it is as an ordinary phone!!!

It is not better to use ordinary phone instead and use notebook as and when required??

or if you want to just show off then use a smart phone just for show off but in reality use it as an ordinary Chinese phone!!!

Use phone for talking and texting. If you are a professional who need to act soon on request / order, emails can be enabled or use a BB. Rest all junk. People are slowly getting out of social networks.

Draining the battery means to discharge the battery fully, in plain language dont put your mobile on charge till it gets switched off. You can do it by not charging your set for 2-4 days.

Draining battery means to allow the gadget to consume the available battery power 100%(full)so that the gadget will be totally starved off power.
The reason for suggesting this is to make the battery healthy. If the battery is fully drained then it will be able to accept the power during mode completely. Additionally one must have the patience to charge the battery also to 100% capacity for this to be meaningful. This is comparable to starving once in month to recuperate our body system. Hope I have added some clarity. Thanks. EzhilArasan
