It depends upon your happiness and Contentment level. Raja is not rich with even Rs 100cr whereas Anna is rich without anything.

Suppose we have 10,000 people flipping coins together. All flip at the same time. If someone flips heads, he advances to the next round. If someone flips tails, he’s eliminated from the game. What happens?

After the first round, about 5,000 people have flipped heads, so they’re still in the game. After the next round, only about 2,500 are left.

Fast forward ten rounds or so, and we’re left with just a couple lucky flippers who have gotten heads every single time.

If you want, you can call them expert coin flippers. But if we were to play again, would you expect those same guys to make it to end again?

Of course not. Their apparent ability to flip coins was an illusion, entirely due to luck. We’d give them the same chances as anyone else in the next game.

In other words, it’s far more likely that they’ll perform around the average next time than it is that they’ll do even better than their exceptional performance the first time. Because their performance was based on luck alone, they will revert to the mean.

The same theroy applies to MF. Out of 1000 MF schemes, at any given time 10 are bound to give exceptional return. Don't get fooled by Randomness

5 equity mutual funds that can make you RICH

I agree with Mr. Salil Dhawan that the mentioned all the 5 equity mutual funds are performing good as of today. But the clause "that can make you RICH" is bound to raise a dozen eyebrows.

Quantum Long Term Equity Fund (G)- It is a Large & Mid Cap fund performing well as of now but incase it underperforms retail investor wants to opt out have then you to pay a high (4%) Exit Load.

HDFC Equity Fund (G)- Plain vanila equity fund from Large & Mid Cap space. Good fund to start for new investors and to accumulate wealth in long term.

SBI Magnum Emerging Business Fund (G)- A fund from Mid & Small Cap space. Did well in the falling market. Lost some of the ground to its peers in the recent pull back.

Reliance Equity Opportunities Fund (G)- Good fund again from the Mid & Small Cap space.

ICICI Prudential Discovery Fund (G)- Another good fund from Mid & Small Cap space.

The funds mentioned are excellent but 4 of them are from the Mid & Small Cap space. To be wealthy (if not RICH !!!) you need to diversify across different asset classes as well as in fund categories. It may be worth looking at some funds from the pure Large Cap and Equity: Multi Cap space to build a balanced portfolio.

Happy Investing.

Tailor made 1 year 10 acre contract farming with high quality seeds in every district by unemployed youth will boost rural economy. These persons will be contractor to farmer andsupplier to a market whole seller beyond the district. He should have mini cold store house for the product to stock. It could be 10 acre only zinger/ only onion/ only marigold flowers/only carrots in contrast areas.Meaninig an area which produces onion should do 10 acre only potato or only carrot product so that it is consumed. This small experiment with financial, agriculture and marketing help will produce new breed of farm product contractors to augument our rural economy.

Best is to join Congress party and buy some lands on loan. Then sell it in a short period and make crores of money. Robert Vadera is giving a training program for that.
