social medias after all an extension of the society only.
by chanakya maurya on May 19, 2012 03:02 PM

the dirt in the society finds its place there as much as the nicety.

However, it is unfortunate the teen generation is being subjected to the ills of the social media.

This is an inevitable side of the social media.

Lately a lot of decent people who are not celebrities have been severing their involvement in the social medias.

absolutely relevant to highlight the pitfalls of social media
by wizardo id on May 19, 2012 02:47 PM

our society in india is not an advanced one, suddenly, we have been pushed into an age where social media can cause devastation if not used with care. unfortunately most people are not sufficiently advanced in understanding the pitfalls of using social media. it's important to educate ourselves first about the implications of using a powerful tool such as social media. especially pertinent is warning about facebook which pushes users to "overshare" all aspects of one's life, before the users realizes the implications he would have gone through the process - making it difficult to retrieve one's own safety nets, safety of one's own information

Thanks for such a good TOPIC.

In our very busy daily schedule, we parents usually should monitor our teens. Today we can never restrict them from mixing with their friends through this electronic social media. Then they will suffer from inferiority complex and be outcast in their group.

Can you tolerate if a guest comes to your home and spill garbage
by vaishnodevi yatra on May 19, 2012 11:31 AM  | Hide replies

Can you tolerate if a guest comes to your home and spill garbage all over your drawing room and set it to fire ? If not, then do you expect Mata Vaishno Devi to forgive you for doing the same to her holy abode ? Vaishno Devi is one of the most visited Shrine of Hindooooos crossing 1 crore visits last year. Google "Save Divine Abode" (Use quotes around the search string) and check the first link in the result that explains how the holy abode of mother goddess is getting polluted, day in day out. Share it with others & educate them to take steps to stop polluting soil and air immediately. Urge J&K government to take immediate steps to prevent permanent damage to flora and fauna of the region. If hindooooz themselves dont take care of the shrines what else can you expect from others ?
