While you and I may not be comfortable at the ideas of such a party, but if people believe that their idea of fun constitutes whats written above, then its their choice and we have no right to question that!! And really, bachelor parties have been in existence for years with worser things done than described above, and not a murmur heard. But the moments 'girls-decide-to-have-fun', the hypocrisy is apparent! Its not as if they are killing someone or doing drugs. Its fair and acceptable in todays world, fortunately or unfortunately. A night of revelry and the next day they are back to their daily routine. Its very very obvious that the people complaining are those who are so-called ultra-tradiotionalist and haven't been invited to a single party in their lifetime, and have missed out on a lot in their lives! Why is that Indian are going from bad to worse. The corruption, lesser ethics, media covering vulgar news, lesser family values.
The young rich ( due to years of hard work and dedication of parents for their children's education) consider themselves to be above the 'rotten indians' (sorry for using this word but for saying minds of many young quick money earners). These young people forget their roots, eat Junky Pizza, burgers, pastas rather than plain, clean Indian food. They start smoking and drinking alcohol, and consider themselves 'Upper class'. Please see that there are good number of educated people in Western world, Japan, Korea, who lead simple, very hard working life, and thanks to them that World is developing. Hope and wish, India and Indians copy the good part of Western world, not the bad part!
For those 'High class' Indians, try to contribute silently to the society that can make life of lives (Mankind, animals, Plants) better.

Agree with Deepak. Unfortunately our so called 'neo rich' brats think that aping the 'wrong' west is fashionable. If one wants to ape the west, let them ape the best qualities they have. Media has a lot to answer for this situation. Change in our traditional food habits are killing people by the thousands. The interseting thing to note is that USA/Europe/Japan or Australians do not ape us but we ape them! Sure people do have different views on life and they are entitled to it.

Who are you to decide what are good morals and what's not ? Eating junk food, smoking and drinking alcohol is as much part of Indian culture as Western culture and as much part of lower classes as "upper" classes. Your knowledge of cultures is short sighted and uninformed. Give your lectures somewhere else and drop your higher than thou attitude.

FYI plenty of indian food is pretty unhealthy too.. deep fried oily snacks and sweets... and floating gravy curries, biriyanis pulaos. ppl forget many new things began in india.. itself.

They are unhealthy but supposed to be consumed once in a while like on certain occasions to keep all your taste buds fresh ask any western guy and he would certainly say that he takes indian food at least once in a month for sure.
