Munnabhai MBBS too was mis-understood as a david dhawan kind of a film & first of its 2-3 days at box office were dull but the film later went on to become one of the biggest hit of all time & also a cult classic giving us a great director like rajkumar hirani.

You're talking of this? But you've completely ignored other point - why do heroines always use pads & try to impart those points to their summit?
MGR and Shivaji Ganesanin Tamil Movies, NTR and ANR in Telugu, Rajkumar in Knnada have ruled the tinsel world and two of them became CMs of the respective states. They were roll models for lakhs and lakhs of youths. Similarly in Malayalam and Bengali. Please include them also.
