Planning to buy a digital camera? Read this

The article was not useful. I am planning to buy a camera within the range of 5000-7000 but this article did not help me I wanted a sort of comparison and features in the options available in Cannon, Nikon and Sony - can anybody help me out??

Compare the aperture size. Smaller the better (as far as I remember what my friend told me when I surveyed and bought my first Canon). That's where Canon scores more.

I am using Panasonic Lumix LS5. I bought it for Rs.5000 in Nov 11. Good Camera. Gives good results. Nothing extraordinary..simple and good enough..

With the quality of Phone cameras improving everyday , very soon the digital cameras may become obsolete..

Because of the quality of the lens in camera is still in a different level from that in any mobile.

True for professional and photography amateurs. For rest of us, a photo is a photo as long as it's not bad.
