How socially conscious young India really is
by RAKESH DIKSHIT on May 10, 2012 07:22 PM

The article is very deceptive because:
1. The demographic details such as age groups, gender, place of living and surplus income of the respondents is not made clear.
2. The findings could have easily been presented in a pi chart to give a realistic impression of the percentages observed. The numbers do not really register in such cases.
3. Issues have been discussed but the location of respondents and their belief accordingly has not been calibrated - say city wise
4. It is important to know who the respondents are - whether they belong to the surplus income groups (the upper middle class persons) where most of them have a job of regular income and therefore have interests in other then daily grinds which a common lower middle class group undergoes.

Time has come where such essays are not projected which portrays materialism and dishonesty - yes it may be harsh but the fact remains the same. Young generation today has following stigmas in their thought processes:
a. How to make more cash.
b. How to spend more cash in the name of luxary
c. How to leave the country and go to a foreign land so that more money can be made and life can be more luxurious.
d. How to not take on responsibility of their families (ever heard the upper middle class supporting their kins in education etc)
e. How to live separate and avoid the hassle of joint family (so called) but actually they are unable to live as a team.

Above is not based out of personal issues so it should not be confused.

D. Goel pkl. Morning7.40AM Friday, May 4, 2012,
The survey stresses the very obvious, as most of these young hope to get some niche in earning Positionsin our cash Driven Mores. Even qualified young -people are not very sure to get satisfactory placements owing to various imperfictionsin our employment Market.
Accordingly, they are not inclined to join any Social Movement , despite their sympathies to issues raised by Annahazare's Campaign againstCorruption,Survey demonstrates that only minuscule 3% was willing to join in to mobilize public attention in favour ofLokpalas demanded by Anna hazare,Last August.D. what our revered minority youth thinks is not mentioned. As they r most misguided by their book and hardly want to mingle with the other community.

Not only young indians but most educated indians want to leave the country since this country is full of beggars who spread diseases like TB. They are in all markets. The sweet shops takes change from them and with same hands they give u mithai.. so even if u keep yourself clean still u get illness. very soon u will get TB if u buy sweets from these shops. government cannot remove beggars from streets and markets so it is better all who can please leave this country and settle in USA- where u get equal opportunity wheather u are a pandit or a shedule caste. NO RESERVATION IN US. DELHI IS FULL OF BEGGARS. IF GOVERNMENT WAS NOT ASHAMED OF BEGGARS WHY WERE THEY REMOVED FROM DELHI DURING THE GAMES?
