The myths are so strongly embeded that we can not change our habbits. It is essential that one has to believe first and then only then one can break ones bad habbits and change for better lifestyle which improves your health.
There is nothing like myth or fact. If your mind is pure, you can survive on literally anything over a long period of time without any illness.Scientists have proved that humans once also had the sixth sense apart from the five senses but we stopped using it and that sense vanished from our body. It can be acquired only by intense spirituality and pure mind and only a few saints can do that now. This is the age of kalyug where max wrong doings are perpetreted by mankind which will cease one day.
My grand mother who died in 1959 at the age of 93 years had given all these tips. We never even discussed about smoking since we were too small then. We have followed the advice and have never contacted any serious illness.
However, this is a good post that should be saved in the hard disc of the computer.

At that time, mankind would have realised divine consciousness(I hope you know the meaning) and stress will not be a factor...only goodwill prevail
One thing which is followed by ancient India is that after a meal you should have hot drinks like a tea or hot water which gulps downn the sticky food particles into your digestive systema nd helps in digestion.
