Mr.Gundu, Get back to school and learn how to spell. Then you can start reading, which will enable you to finally answer your own question.
just tell me one thing. how many indian scientist name you found in chemistry, physics, botany, zoology, maths books and then talk about talent. how many inventions have been made by indians? can you list down.

there are many...seems you are lazy enough to search them! no one is going to spoon feed you!
Hope after getting some degree such as ph.d, or masters he comes back to his roots in india and starts serving the motherland of his parents. Usually people get a degree from a premier institution in india and then goes to server some country abroad.
Re: Lets hope for a change
by Ram on Mar 21, 2012 01:44 PM
after his masters amd ph.d he will return to motherland only to play 2nd fiddle to our masters (the politicians). let him stay in US and discover something new which might help whole of mankind
Re: but how could they do
by veeranam on Mar 21, 2012 10:27 AM
yes reservation is the only problem, it should be abolished, but poor India system was offering 100% reservation to one particular section for thousands of years, now it is spared to wast majority.
Indians having studied in Indian IIts, IIMs, Medical institutes and other premier institutes migrate to US or other countries immediately after the studies, though the govt spends crores and crores of rupees on them for running these institutions..
The standard reason given is that they dont get enough opportunities here..
Are there not numerous scientists/researchers/scholars working in Institutes like CSIR/DRDO/ISRO/AIIMS etc etc who are contributing to Indian development??
Should we celebrate such things when they have betrayed Indian govt, Indian soil, Indian people...
At least govt should collect the money spent on them for their education before they leave the country....

Face it, if shitIndians disappeared tomorrow America, Japan, South Korea and Europe would NOT COLLAPSE!! Coming to IT, there is no doubt that Indians are producing a lot of IT graduates, but what are the real capabilities of these graduates in terms of creativity and innovation? Indian IT graduates are great at following orders and designing cheap websites, but what is their contribution to producing new software technologies? What exactly is the Indian contribution to Android Honeycomb or Ice Cream Sandwich? Come to think of it what exactly was the Indian contribution to producing the Computer or even the next generation of Intel Core I3, I5 or I7 64bit microprocessors (Sandy Bridge)? Please tell us how Indian skills are keeping the world moving forward with their contribution to new technology!! Indians maybe a very poor country (per capita) but they are very rich in terms of their HUGE EGOs. I have read that Indians are also claiming that countries in Europe such as the UK also owe their economies to India. INDIAN LABOR is like fast food. You can survive with it but it is not good for you in the long term as it has no useful nutrition. Indian Labor is useful to keep costs low, but ultimately if you want a company to be innovative and cutting edge then you need American brains, because American brains have the quality to invent and figure out new ways of doing things. Indians can copy and follow mission briefs only!!!

Nobody owes anything to anybody. Its just survival of the fittest. No need for belittling anybody here, i was only mentioning the lack of gratitude on the part of educated Indians in rendering some service to the nation.

The famous columnist Nancy Gib bs wrote in Time Magazine that Chinese and Indians produce on ly brilliant academic brains and not creative brains like Bill Gates,Steve Jobs,Mark Zuc kerberg,Reid Hoffman etc.

You are right, Indian scientist unable to copy the high end tech, still they lacking in copying also. You cannot expect 100percent scorer to think innovatively because, the minds who score high in exams is just like a another computer memory chip, how can we expect a creativity from it. The real search of right people or real recognition to right people is bending task on Indian research system.

And Indians have performed well mostly in non-technicalo fields like banking, marketing, general administrations etc not only bcos of their education but bcos of their social & cultural values. Examples are Vikram Pundit, Indira Nooyi etc..

Social and Cultural Values? That means you are not aware of Harvard Educated RajatGu pta who is facing 105 year prison term for insider tra ding in US Stock Market.

It is not right to say that Indians do not have brains. Ofcourse the same indian performs well when he is sorrounded by good intellectual environment. If we really look back Indians were strong in mathematics and also science. But the real issue is that India as a country do not provide platform for intellectual thinking. Most of the winners here are non-intellectuals and government or education system here never supported intellectual thinking. Indians are educated to get a job and earn not that the education brings wisdom here. To be honest how mnay of us are ready to spent atleast 4 hours per week to educate our children on knowledge wisdom and allocate some money for base scientific research. Also we have one more issue that even if an Indian comes out with real good product or technology our own country do not take it saying that it is inferior to other technologies and no one is ready to fund a real technology here. Banks only see your last year balance sheets not that how your technology prosper over the years. Before attempting to put blame on Indian brain one should create co technology friendly environment here and throw our attitude of everything good at foreign and everything bad at India. Are you ready to join us for the path of bringing knowledge wisdom. If some one is able to do that we can also it is only out attitude and strength to see that our children grow in good environment

This is a standard mindset that says India does not provide opportunities, good atmosphere etc ...
Does a man need only a job that pays him say 1 crore a month to serve the nation???
Are there not people taking much less salaries n still working for the nation???
India is only 65 years old democracy... we should give her time to catch up with the rest of the older democracies....

Please read the post before commenting. The following lines are also there in the post..To be honest how mnay of us are ready to spent atleast 4 hours per week to educate our children on knowledge wisdom and allocate some money for base scientific research.
This is one more bogus claim. Intel as a company is just two decades old or less. And it came into being as a big company may be a decade ago. And all these claims being oldest and MOST prestigious and all that gas.
Bogus web site. Half the things here are bogus and fake.
Why dont you guys stick to wardrobe mal functions and Poonam Pandey. That is your standard.

What most of the comments here seem to be suggesting is that America is prosperous due to shitIndia. The Indian is also suggesting that without India, USA would not be technologically or scientifically advanced as it is. Some Indians seem to suggest that NASA would be nothing without Indians. An Indian needs to tell the world what it's contribution to NASA was in the race to the moon against the USSR. What part of the moon landing was Indian contribution. Similarly Indians need to tell the world what part of the US military, Indians contributed to. Was it our Nuclear Submarines? Or was it our Jet Fighters? Or was it our Bombers? Did India invent 'Stealth' Technology? I keep forgetting so Indians need to remind us what contribution they make to Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, which produce our cutting edge defense equipment. What part of Boeing's commercial arm do Indians contribute to? Was there an Indian hand in the production of the Boeing 787 'Dreamliner'? Would the world have been deprived of the V6, V8, V12 or V16 mass produced motor engines if it weren't for Indian ingenuity? What is the Indian contribution to General Motors? For that matter what is India's contribution to UK's Rolls Royce that produces turbine engines or General Electric which also produces turbine engines. Is it not true that actually Indian Jet Fighters currently use either Russian or General Electric built jet engines?

Pl do not berate Poonam Pand ey.Atleast in the department of good looks and Physical As sets she is the topper. When she bares it,she does not fo rce you to see it.That is in her functional sphere she has done a good job,not to be com pared to our scientists who can not crack the technical code to make AeroEngines, Mi cro Chips,Comp Servers,RO Mem branes for effluent purifica tion, ulktra centrifuge and inverters for Uranium Enric hment and many others. We are only academic brains and not creative brains like Bill Gat es,Steve Jobs,MarkZuckerberg, Reid Hoffman.
