It this guy would have graduated from someother college, he would have been advocating that college against St. Stephen's and all. This article clearly shows his frustration in life and he just trying to justify the position he has landed into. Quite Amusing.

St. Stephen's may have its brand value.

But what is it in terms of the capacity to create intellects as compared to the JNU ??

Fried roaches for lunch? Anyone?

The band of Stephanians is so detached from reality. This is why the illustrious list of politicians who come out of Stephens have landed the country where it is today.

In the cafe, Stephanians do not discuss how to fix the planet or sorry state of country. Tell them that you have not heard of Hendrix or Kurt Cobain and they will look at you as
if you are a village simpleton. My simple answer is this - no we, the normal junta do not eat the exotic fried cockroaches for mental lunch.

If this is your claim to fame, may peace be upon you.

I am a graduate of St. Stephen's and didn't hear of Kurt Cobain and Hendrix when I was in college. I wasn't ostracised for this either. I think you are stereotyping the college using words that can be used for any group of 'fashionable' people in the Delhi undergraduate system. I also have grave doubts over whether the politicians graduating from Stephen's landing the country where it is today has anything at all to do with Stephen's. A BA or BSc. degree is all you get, not instructions of how to run the country.

Typical Delhi i t e attitude.

'We don't have a clue about anything outside Delhi but everything in Delhi is the best in the world'

No wonder these clowns get their backsides kicked in other cities.

Just plain garbage. One of the most immature piece of writing. Clearly shows mental bankruptcy of this jerk who is a result of colonial mindset that people still harness.

weird article

The author absolutely fails to make a case for Stephens in terms of utility or value (other than snob value). Shakespeare debate society, Kurt Cobain are fine as window dressing but what about being of some functional value. Engineers at Infosys are not "coding software" but participating in building, maintaining products, same as building roads, building, machines. I did not see such an argument made out for St. Stephen.
