dear sridharan, water is too much costly and rare; if we are eager for water driven bikes or any kind of vehicles then they must be run by chemical based polluted water which is polluting our rivers.
The Ducati "Diesel" model shown here actually runs on petrol (that too a high-octane type) as with any other superbikes. The model shows the words "Diesel" because it is a co-venture between Ducati and the international fashion brand "Diesel" - has nothing to do with how the bike is fuelled!
The bike is too costly for the indian customers. One would rather invest in the Petrol bikes. Its truth that still many foreign companies fail to understand the indian customers mind. Companies should invest in research and come up with plans to reduce the cost of the bikes so competitive as the petrol bikes to acquire the market.

no my friend...though its not affordable by all, its actually not that costly when you take up its features and compare it with the petrol-driven bikes...
This bike was on Bullet Chassis, had a Villiers or Greaves engine and was made in Punjab. This should be resurrected for starters. It did not prosper due to lack of numbers, lack of after sales support and lack of marketing effort.
