Me and my group have tried to use 3G using best of smartphones all over Mumbai, Simply put we could not catch 20/20 cricket live or any youtube video without being frustrated. Our telecom companies complain that 3G has not caught up, try making an expensive videocall through any network and you know that PEOPLE ARE NOT FOOLS TO PAY PREMIUM FOR SUBSTANDARD SERVICES. If this case in Mumbai, things can't be better elsewhere for sure. 4G services of Airtel in Kolkatta is worse than 3G. Seems to be some deliberate policy, one cannot cough-up one lakh crore and provide sub-standard services.
