If it is true then why we do not find women scientist in chemistry, physics, botany, zoology and math. Women can obtain all the degrees but miserably failed in Reseach and devept. why. I agree in India women were suppressed but in last 50 years situation has changed. And abroad they were given full freedom. And in India at least in freedom struggle there were many women. But why lagged in reaserach,

well said and add mother of all, the great Indira Gandhi.Women have been reason for many wars and many great historic moments. Any man who says women have low IQ obviously has a low IQ. Respect women and always play by rules.

Food for thought: There are more failed men than successful men. If there is women behind all successfull men then isnt a women behind all failed men?

Come on man look at modern women they are perhaps more intelligent than men. Modern women know when to play victim when you demand what she wants and how to get what she wants. Men are proving to be dumb infront of women now. Even through out history muslims and christians have surprssed women so we barely see any thing about women. But in hinduism women did have more freedom so we see Draudpadi, kaikai, jhansi rani, Indira gandhi. Some used their intelligence for selfish reasons some for good. Never ever underestimate women.
then India is still far far away from such modernity, one should think!
As in other countries, there are several popularly acknowledged demonstrators of IQ levels in India. And two of the most quoted and perhaps two of the most realistic among these demonstrators are the entrance examinations to the IIT graduate programs and to the IIM management programs!
And in both these examinations, there cant be any more complaints that women are somehow disadvantaged in preparation or in motivation. Modern coaching classes for both these tests are far too well spread out, far too well aligned to the needs of candidates and far too cosmopolitan in every way that girls can no longer try and complain that they remain disadvantaged in some manner! Moreover, parents who allow (or prod eagerly) their daughters to take these two tests spend and fawn as much on them as they do on their sons in preparation for these tests.
And so the fact that fewer than 3 % of the successful candidates at the JEE and 17 % at the CAT are girls (depite the percentage of female candidates being in excess of 35 % at the JEE and 42 % at the CAT in 2011) should come as a very grim wake up call to those who keep living on in their make believe world of girls having more IQ than boys!

if culturallyt women are not driven to excel in academics specially in science related fields than that is not an accurate setting for comparing their IQs.
I would think western countries are a true indicator of actual female IQ and academic potential since they are more driven to excel there.

You are looking at a wrong view of the data. Women are far smarter, they know by looking good they can get any of the IIT guys. Why work hard? Look good and maintain the size. Find a rich businessman or IIT passout get married to him, keep a maid in house for work , roam the world with him, do lot of shopping. Women were always intelligent and will be intelligent.
