Hats off Manoj!!! The determination and courage that u have showed in coming through such an experience is really amazing. Even with all the support that u got, i doubt a person with lesser mental strength would have got through like u did. Being a doc, honestly I have never seen som1 survive 95% burns. Kudos to the medial team that worked with u.
On a different note, those who keep on trashing our medical system, please stop comparing the medical facilities of both countries. Both are at 2 different stages of development. India has its own priorities supporting over a billion ppl unlike the U.S. The medical system is vastly different with its own pros/cons. Indian medical system also has its own huge list of success stories, but hardly any1 keeps track, right? So please stop trashing your own country just because u feel that whatever happens outside is better than here.

He wouldn't have survived in India

In India, he would have been left to die and doctors wouldn't have bothered to waste their time in trying to save a patient with 95% burns.

US is a great nation without corruption by medical fraternity. In India the IMA is most corrupt.

This is a miracle and it has happened because of doctors and the US Govt. Even perfectly healthy guys with good education background cannot survive in India we are victims to many things. When people like us are suffering it is almost impossible for you to survive in India take a refugee status and be in states. Our fates are sealed in India.

burn treatment in india n pre n post physological care.. n society attitude n support systems are great for a person to bounce back quickly into mainstream..life..unlike india.. where there is so much discrimination...
