Coastal belt of Maharashtra
by Paresh Prajapati on Jul 07, 2012 08:19 AM  | Hide replies

If one has ever visited the coastal belt of Maharashtra during monsoon, he/she will agree with me that this is one of the most beautiful places, especially when it rains. Places like Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Alibag, Mahad
Lush green mountains and fields, low lying clouds, waterfalls and an abundance of natural beauty. Has a very cool and calming effect on the mind. Highly recommended...

I will be in Shirdi till the 25th of July. My return ticket to Patna is from Mumbai on the 1st of Aug at midnight. Could you suggest places I could visit to have a relaxing holiday.

The author has no accurate experience & knowledge. Just picked up some tourist place and projected as monsoon destinations. Secondly it is pain in traveling in India. Very place is over crowded and home is the best place for monsoon
