You may ask for Alsee ka tel from a good departmental/kiraana store or from a Khaari bavli wholesaler. In case you are unable to do so then you may simply take a packet of raw seeds & after store it after roasting and take a spoonful evey morning. Another marvellous herb for lowering LDL as well as Sugar is Daalcheeni (Cinnamon). You may use it in any form- even powdered form in tea/milk or any eatable.

Not certain that it reduces in all but has been found to reduce bad cholesterol in some. Healthy for other reasons as well

walnuts

10.Walnuts: Walnuts can significantly reduce blood cholesterol because they are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Walnuts also help keep blood vessels healthy and elastic. Almonds appear to have a similar effect, resulting in a marked improvement within just four weeks. A cholesterol-lowering diet with a little less than 1/3 of a cup of walnuts a day may reduce LDL cholesterol by 12%.
Why this is not included as a supplement to lower cholestrol
