I dont know why this hype for MBA in India maybe its just because they dont want to make the effort of CREATING something. Many pleople who CREATE a company or run a business all over the world are not MBA's. And with all those MBA's in India hardly 1% actually start a business or capable of starting one on their own, other are totally useless. And comapnies in past before MBA came in existence ran better than with the present day idiotic MBA's. 95% of MBA only look their personal gains and doesnt give a shit about any company or its employees because it is not his/her comapny...they are just sitting on someone else company.
My sincere advise to all companies is Do not employ MBAs they are good for nothing useless people instead employ job oriented / technical people who will give some output

Top colleges dont. They already get top scorers and get developed themself. There are mediocre colleges train raw candidates and convert them employable. It is easy to convert a 95% guy to 98%. That is what these IIMs and IITs do. But elevating a 70% person to 90% is challenging. Thats what some of the institutions do. Here I mean on percentage is not their score but caliber.
if we could change the pattern of selection from formal to informal manners it may require 20 years to score 100 percentile given after only a small exam

Sour grapes?
But keep in mind that getting good percentile only improves your chances of getting a call from good B-school. But finally your percentile carries only a fraction of weight-age & there are more steps like GD & interview followed for the selection. Your work experience also carries some weightage for selection in some IIMs/B-schools. (and it helps you in your study in B-schools)

Heard so much comments on sour grapes. How many success full entrepreneurs in India are from IIMs or even from a reputed B school. All b schools guys prefer working for fat salary and sit & F@rt in their seats
