Dude whatecer you say its good or bad but at the end of day you will for whatever you have paid. I have the ipad and dude i think apple's hardware and software can't be matched. if someone can afford it but ipad or Akassh as its very very cheap but no need to for inbetweens
1. A dumb guy as a result poor, at 40 he cant afford an IPAD, and then defies his luck to pay for the defective piece his friend bought. Actually his friend might know how the piece can be turned on but wont tell to avoid spilling the beans.
2. Are we reviewing India's public food distribution system.

What is wrong with India? They do not understand simple English? The guy paid for his Aakash and it died in 30 minutes and never woke up. Just google Statesman and Aakash, Aakash and Jaimon Joseph, Aakash and The Telegraph, Aakash and CNN, Aakash and BBC and you will get to know the reality.
I am very concerned after reading this article. I already made my payment a week ago and expecting the tablet any day now. I can only hope for the best. By the way, this is a very well-written review. Keep up the writing, and the rest of us keep praying(that the tablet works fine!)

Do not blindly follow such absurd write-ups........even nokia n8 smartphone has a software problem.......does that mean Finland ia a pathetic country? Many of apple products have failed before. So does that make USA a less technologically advanced country? That wrieup is absurd.... His friend must have dropped the piece and has hence sold it....

"His friend must have dropped the piece and has hence sold it". Well said man Y would he sell the product when he did so much hard work to get it? something fishy from his friend point ,this article writer fool should bash his friend rather than questing abt the product
Firstly it is a low cost device, secondly we should not under rate the Indian technology. Even in US Indians constitutes a major volume as for as Engineers are concerned. Now the second version is coming out and we will see. Even windows Operating system has undergone so many upgrades /versions. And it is like comparing Mr.Ambani's Building with a small hut behind his house. Comparison should always carry some sense.

so you seem to be the manufacturer of Akaash. So you want to cheat Indians. Why Indian products. do you believe Indians to be ugraded or downgraded people. Think carefully.
I pity the people who still feel that USA is great & India nothing when today USA is in deep shit with their capitalistic principles failing and the 'Occupy Wall Street' protests happening! USA has long back outsourced it's manufacturing to China(except Defense). People may not be aware that the Shirt they but in USA is stitched in India!
It is sad to see the mental servility of these people.

he is talking about quality of made in india products. Everything made in india is substandard, from a safety pin(which rusts soon) to aeroplane(if they ever made it in india). even the fruits we get are third quality because first and second quality are exported. so u can rediff is right

Akash idea is Indian but the piece is made in England. U CAN RELAX ... TILL UR DEATH ..
How can you expect a world-class tablet for just 2500 rupees? It is same as chinese i-phone..you can buy it but cannot rely on it. Mr Sibbal's IT ministry could not stop part time hackers from hacking their major websites. So lets stop expecting world class products from them...we all know how efficient government organisations are ???
