Not-so-nyc

The review could have been better. You performed a biased analysis of Aakash, and you reeeeeeaaaaaallllyyyyyyyyy didn't consider what resources are available within that price range. I know Aakash is not-so-nyc but you were rather personal in your approach. I only found the summary helpful. A fine and amusing attempt at reviewing.

Sry, 2 hear bout ur akash, really good english, but rather long review. now u r nt a writer so i won't 'rate' u. similarly u r not supposd 2 compare akash wid ipad. problems can occur wid any gadget evn d best ones. one should encourage the effort of bringing out d gadget due to which all d MNCs are reducing d prices. What happened did they suddenly find d cost of raw materials coming down??? NO, its scare tht they won't sell. Thanx 2 akash, we hav othr 'better' companies reducing their prices too. thts how we hav 'competition' or u wud jus hav Apple (like Bajaj).. Yes we must tak care tht d quality does not take a hit. till a certain point reduction in prices just means reduction in profits for d company n not reduction in quality...

Agreed Aakash is poor man's ipad. But it is creating waves. Suddenly the tablet pc prices are falling like nine pins. But the advice to write off Aakash is malice. I feel, like Nano the Aakash too is not properly positioned. Too much of euphoria create too many disappointments.

about this review

This is not a review. it is kind of a long complaint literature. do not show your desperation in reviews please. before declaring the product faulty you need to find similar instances (did you try to find?).one thing you have mentioned is alarming, the nonexistent support for the device. Apart from that the summary of the "review" is: the product failed within 48 hours.that's it.your comparison of aakash with ipad is like comparing a Maruti800 with a Renault fluence.
Waiting for a proper technical review from Rediff.

How will you review something that does not work?

You can buy Aakash a little cheaper in Taiwan, 20% less. Its bought SKD and sold in India. The one assembled in taiwan works because they know how to assemble. Aakash guy never did anything worthwhile in life. A Canadian cheating the Indians

shame on reviwer

Rediff should avoid such type of personal reviewing story as it is his personal problem of not handling the tablet properly. These type of baseless and without technical reasoning reviews degrade the reputation of rediff of making a story like this. Reviewer never written the technical aspect or problem in this tablet. It totally seems to defame the cheapest products for helping mid-segments. Remember you put the garbage into machine and you will get the garbage.

Just imagine if someone adept at reviewing technology cannot use it, who else can? Have you bought one buddy? Please buy and repent!

Yesterday i happen to see some railway workers handling/transporting Dell laptop boxes... the way they handled the boxes I understood why brand new products fail. In India you need some luck to get good products and services.
