Very Poorly written piece with an equally unwieldy presentation
by Manoj Tirkey on Jan 08, 2012 06:43 PM

This guy has bought a defective second hand piece from a defective friend (who probably deliberately damaged the device) and is now making noise on the web. Is he hired by the Apple PR agents? Apple's paid agent's are marauding all over the web to make every other device look bad while eulogize Apple's products.

Aakash....

The basic idea of launching a cheapest tablet is to make technoogy available to everyone (Poorers also), however, if minimum required perfomance level is not met, there is no use of price it at 2,500/-. Rather price can be fixed a little more with better perfomance, meeting atleast the minimum requirement of technology use.

May I suggest you buy another Aakash? That way You will have the right of ownership to take them to the Consumer Courts and get paid back for both the pieces!
Just for starters, take countries in alphabetical order & find how many have that option available to their citizens!
As for the ration shops - remember that our forefathers accepted socialism. So who says that the sins of the fathers are not invested upon the sons?

He must be a Pakistani
by manohar makhija on Jan 08, 2012 01:32 PM

Keeping with the tradition of Pakistan bashing on random articles on Rediff , i think that the author must be a Paki who is jealous of India's progress in the tech space.
