A perceptible decline in political culture is getting reflected in the eroding credibility of the constitutional institutions.
Attempts to safeguard politically vested interests have led to politicization of these institutions.
The increasing political interference in the functioning of these institutions and presence of pliable officials have led to a situation that people are fastly loosing faith in
the system.
Nearly four lakh Kashmiri Pandits were hounded out of their homes due to this turmoil and thousands were killed.
Some put the present figure of the number of exiled Kashmiri Pandits at 7.5 lakh.
No commission or probe has focused on ethnic cleansing and the genocide of minority Pandits, which led to their exodus from the valley.
Moreover, the persecutors are roaming free in Kashmir.

I would vote for Maula DickVijay Singh, he has promoted secularism and his efforts in setting up 'Shri Laden Ji nagar' near bhopal for secular jehadis. I would like him to be given 'Bharat Ratna' soon.
