1. Men hiring managers love to have good looking women around; it does adds color to working environment – interests in working/being colleagues/sincerity in performance. 2. Women are go getters – perform assigned tasks as per SLAs 3. Indian hiring scenario is completely different – if you are women of particular community and good looking sure to be hired. 4. Community preference or caste plays major role – some women and even men are not hired however suitable or perfect for the job they are. 5. For many hiring managers – creating a better work environment is more important and women in particular find favorable in the hiring process.

Your post is another example of 'Domisism', cann't accept the truth that 'Women are better'.
The article is very true, as Women can handle things better and independent. Can adapt very quickly by learning.
With due respect to the abilities of women, I must say that when it comes to decision making they are a confused lot (exceptions are always there). If women had the power to cope with stress then they would have been more successful than men in all spheres of life.
because of course women are equally good, but 'better' is because the interviewers may be frustrated/ogling money bags or on a higher rung of the ladder.
No doubt , Women are talented but they also know how and when to compromise especially HR girls.
Also, Corruption breeds everywhere and pay money and get job. Or make girlfriend with HR and enjoy your stay in Corporate. Even CEOs want to have the help of HR head in getting good supply of blonde looking HR girls for enjoyment.
The real reason is tht the guys who interview are typically in their 40's and 50's at which age men's character is typically that of a street dog and so their mouth waters seeing young chicks.A woman always gets an unfair advantage in interviews even with a male of similar talents bcos of this simple reason(may be it’s the other way around if woman are in the panel)
