There is nothing known as V- day as the world knows now it has been totally distorted.
St valentine did not exist, and the v day was celebrated by a married couple originally.
As far as there is no hard feelings afterwards, there is no harm in celebrating and enjoying the V-day.

V day is good both culturally and economically.
by manoj kumar on Feb 08, 2012 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

Culturally its all about romance. which is core od indian relegion. krishna, shiva. all erotic.
when couple go out eat, celeberate that help in economic growth. they are good consumers. demand of thigs. create jobs and income for people. so economically its good too.
i feel pity for those morons who buycott it.

Today whole western countries are accepting yogic and buddhist spirituality. they are brave. we are still coward, just celeberating valentine day and new year which is nothing more than just eating out and having fun. this is gonna destroy indian culture? what a retareded people. they are reason india is sorry state.

not against but even not support

not against V-day but against those peoples who avoid indian festivals such as Holi, Deepawali etc. on the excuse that this will affect their skin, allergy with colors, sound, oil and all reasons. these people pretend to be more westernized rather pround to be assoicated with indian culture. the limit is that these persons will definately say happy valentines day but for our festivals they are not even bothered to wish or celebrate. they will cornor themselves. Secondly, on the name of v-day and freedom the guys want all type of activities publicly which should be limited to some personal places.

Should not be considered.
by KRISHNA CHAITANYA on Feb 08, 2012 12:50 PM  | Hide replies

I am not against nor am i with this day. its like people have started taking all the 364 days granted and just shower all the love on this single very day. why do we need a date to remember and not the deed. Why is it not that you do something special and make that day as special day for you both and recall it every year...but this valentine day stuff is getting used as an excuse for the mistakes done in all the 364 days and on this one day you are excused because you are making it a special day. Not happening guys.

I agree Mr. Krishna's comment on valentine's day, but, at the same time my message in this regard would be that any day which brings love or talks of love should be paid worm-welcome, adopted-adorably and should be felt-completely in life.
