I know what you went through. My son couldn't clear his 3rd grade and has not been going to school for the past several years. Have taken him to experts and they agree that he has learning disability. Am now working on giving him some alternative to regular studies. He lacks focus and cannot yet read or write. I'll check up on NIOS. Never knew it existed.

I have a grandchild who is facing some difficulty in speaking an we are working hard to see that he improves. All professional are working on speech therapy.

Your story has inspired me that we will succeed one day. The boy is on the border line of frame but IQ test shows he is much above average level

I am really proud of the boy who suceeded in NIOS. my best wishes and congrats to the boy and wish him all success.
Yes , I do realise many schools and colleages are insensitive to the students of this nature. actulay they are only blind and dump and not the students like this. society to be blamed for this.
KUDOS to NIOS and there should be law for admitting students from NIOS.

My daughter is also is one such.I found that teahers and tutors were not intelligent enough to understand her plight(handicap). They curse and criticised her.

I knew she had a disability and when she was scratched-off the school in the 9th std, I admitted her in NIOS, Delhi Board and she finished her Matric easily without Maths and lower level Science.

She joined College and graduated in Mass Media (then a new course).

Today she is working in an Airline, married and would be a mother shortly.

We hope that her child would be brilliant.

I feel that regular schools in order to get 100% results turn these kids away. The board must have a sction for these kids, so that they can pass thru" the same school where they spent 8 or 9 years. After all, not all of us are Einsteins.....

Though I don;t want to discourage you the job world after your studies is a big nightmare in India go abroad where people might recognize your talent better and you can flourish. India is a place where you need to be corrupt to get success but if you have genunity and talent west is a better place.

It is so encouraging to read your story in your own words, because no one can write about our life like we can. Keep up the determination and dedication, I am sure you will be a successful businessman. And I would say that you may not be a businessman yet, but you are definitely successful, because you have accepted what you have in your life and are happy about it.
