Differentiate property marketing company and actual builder
by anindya mitra on Feb 06, 2012 05:45 PM

The thing is, one has to check the record of the builder/promoter. Marketing agencies will just sell; but no legal responsibility is there for them. And they will not be there once you start paying. Property fairs will be full of marketing agencies [they talk better]. My advice - use them to get information. Then contact the builder directly for the deal. You may get extra discount by bypassing middlemen. So use property fairs to shortlist but never book then n there.

The very fact that so much
by piri on Feb 03, 2012 07:31 AM

onus is left to the property buyer to ensure that he is not duped and that there is little remedy for the situation decades after India began 'developing fast' is one more pointer to how the saying "A crow cannot become a crane, however much it bathes itself" is so true about the Indian nation's attempt to become a modern civilisation !

For such an enlightening article. Now I exactly know what to do in Property exhibition.

I have one more question though - Is it ok to accept the soft drinks/coffee/tea that any of the stalls in these exhibitions offer?
