You elect the govt and now you blame it for increasing the prices, you blame the youngsters for being rash, you want to blame everyone who wants to own a powerful car/bike and tell me one thing if i am riding/driving cautiously on highway at speed of 100 or 120 than i am burnini my own fuel and you should not enforce a rule on me to ride/drive at 60 only, as in city or highway if i drive/ride slow some moron will come and hit me from behind or from left side some jaywalker will cut my lane. The need is to educate the jaywalkers and cutting sped to 60 is not a solution but providing better infrastructure is the way out.
Govt has put almost 100% taxes on Petrol and subsidised diesel to some extent. 80% of car buyers are opting diesel which will increase the pollution by manifolds compared to petrol vehicles. Govt policy is actually harming the health condition and making the cities unlivable.

Not true. Diesel vehicles only hv more particulate matter. Otherwise they hv very low CO, Unburnt HC and CO2 emissions. The CO2 emissions are mainly low because of high fuel efficieny.
Switch to highly subsidized Diesel and forget about cost.As all the rich person have done all their vehicles and generators run on diesel for which all citizens are paying subsidy.
The govt is imposing lots of taxes and making money out of us and paying them to gov employees who are just not working and misusing the funds whenever possible.
I have seen people keeping their vehicle on for their benefit rather than its usefulness.
Better to switch to solar energy, wind energy, cycles, etc
But the rate at which vehicles are being sold, i think India will be clogged like china in the next 10 years.

It wouldn't take that long. We are hardly building roads but adding thousands of car per month!!
In my opinion, these habits need to be inculcated when you learn driving. While the driving schools could look at imparting these habits, the RTO's issuing the licenses could look at these behaviour while issuing a license, instead just asking the learn in 8 shaped route. Rash Driving, Lane Cutting, Unncessary honking of Horn all these could be tackled if we teach the young ones properly when they start learning the driving. Above all one need to plan their driving well in time, if they are driving regualrly and to the same place day after day. Even if you are able to start your drive 5-10 minutes earlier, you save lots of tension while driving.
Good advice. Right thinking people shoujld abide by it. If a person is landed with a petrol driven car a couple of years back and caught on the wrong foot with frequent increase in price of fuel, he has option of going for fitting a CNG kit. Except major citires there is no fac ility for CNG filling and one would wonder how long it would take for opening CNG outlets all over the country, when here are vsted inrtersts against.

Reva NRX is going to change the game. It's decent looking, competitively priced and runs on electricity. We should be asking for more charging station now!!
