since there are many dumb companies that will buy this survey and base their salary slabs on the results, I need to not tell you how to fill in the salary survey

phck all the analysis. the simple formula shared by a placement Consultant of mine is your salary should be 1.5 times of your years of experience in the industry (the title would be equivalent naturally) - Or you are lagging behind.
first the key sectors infra, real estate are and Information Technology department is missing. After submitting all inputs; the stpid thing just aborted. sheer west of time.
In India we so often come to polished corporate terms being preached and showcased upon in big corporate houses regarding maturity models, best practices etc. In reality we all have faced and seen the fact that merit based culture is much to be desired in these big Indian corporate houses and there have been innumerable illustrations where we get to see prevalent practices being bestowed upon and perceived upon to be practical which is transparently different to the organizational policies ; whereas in true global MNCs its transparency with which merit gets rewarded more and its the employee satisfaction and team building exercises which gets stressed upon so much that automatically they acclimatize an employee retention policy in them.If we want to develop ourselves as global citizens of NEX GEN india ; we need to inherit and embrace the merit based culture and performance incentive in every corner of our economy and society .Removal of corrupt practices and if for the well being of nation we need to accept youth over experience; we need to do that whole heartedly .
